Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny is a female, 2 year old Bassadore. She is very kid friendly and has grown up with children and is very gentle and loving. Penny is dog social and wants to play with the cat, but is not aggressive toward cats.
Penny's family moved to a farm and since then has unfortunately developed an allergy to their new home environment on a farm (most likely cause is the abundance of different hays and grasses around them, per the vet). So we believe Penny will do best back in a suburban environment (where she previously did not have any issues). Apartment life would suit her just fine. She is house and crate trained.
Penny is up to date on her vaccines, is on heart worm prevention and wears a Soresto collar for fleas/ ticks. She will be microchipped with a life-time registration.

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
