My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CHARLOTTE is a 1-year-old spayed female black lab. Charlotte weighs 35 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

DESCRIPTION Charlotte is a super sweet little nugget, who doesn't let having three legs slow her down at all! She will run and hop up a full flight of stairs before you have time to marvel at the fact that she's doing it! She even skips stairs! She sleeps soundly through the night, is house and crate trained, and is perfect in the crate, never making a peep. She's not crazy energetic, and seems content to beg for belly rubs and cuddle, and enjoy munching on some grass while exploring outside. She does well with the older, laid back dogs in the house, but is a bit concerned when the rambunctious ones get too close as she's still a bit unbalanced and I think is afraid they might knock her over. She loves to be outside, and chases bits of fluff (and flies) but hasn't quite decided to chase toys or balls yet. Charlotte knows her basic commands (sit, come, kennel & drop it), but as a young girl who has been through a lot of changes, a refresher training course and a bit of consistency would help her thrive. She is incredibly easy on leash, and just needs the tiniest tug of encouragement when she gets tired or distracted to follow her human.
