Meet Sandy! Darling Sandy is a 2 year old dachshund who weighs approximately 12 pounds. This gal was surrendered to the shelter with two other little dachshunds (see Penny and Chloe) due to her owner's unforeseen circumstances. Initially, we were only planning on pulling one dog, but once we found out she came with two others we knew we had to rescue them all. Sandy is a stunning, light tan doxie with a white little chest and toes. She's as cute as can be with her floppy ears and short little legs, and definitely knows it too. This gal loves to receive lots of attention, and there is definitely no shortage of that given to her. Sandy, like the others, loves to go on walks, but also to stay by your side wherever you are. She is completely housetrained and walks perfects on a leash.
