Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This loving boy was in the shelter system for quite awhile and GSRBC has been asked for assistance. Anton was quickly going downhill in the shelter environment and was becoming harder and harder to place the more he got stressed out. We are happy to report that Anton has come into our care.
Here, Anton will learn to live with other dogs, have good house manners and get some much needed obedience into him. Anton had a big day when he met several different GSRBC dogs, with varying temperaments, and while he did react at first, he settled easily and even tried to play with one of the resident dogs.
Anton is roughly about 2 – 3 yrs old but he could be a little younger. He has been diagnosed with a mild to medium case of hip dysplasia and is currently on a careful regime of diet and moderate exercise. Anton is not a dog for agility nor would he be good for a running partner. A couple of nice walks and maybe a few minutes throwing the ball is enough for this boy. A moderately active home would be a great match.
