Princess is fostered in Shiloh IL through United Yorkie rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org
Princess is a 3 year old, 8.5 lb. yorkie who came to United Yorkie rescue in May 2017 when she was given up by her family as they didn't have time for her anymore. She's spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on all her shots.
Princess is cute as a button, and sweet as sugar. While she hasn't had any formal training, she listens well and seems to have a basic concept of what she is told to do. Princess will need an extremely securely fenced yard and no exceptions will be made to this, as her prior owners said she'd look for ways to escape. She likes to dart out the door, so many precautions and care must be taken to avoid her getting loose. (secure/double harnessing and gates at doors/exits are advised with this little peanut)
So far, Princess hasn't had any accidents in her foster home, although her prior owners said her housetraining was unreliable. Other than loving to go on adventures if allowed, and being somewhat obsessive about licking, Princess appears to be perfect. She loves to play with other small dogs and would really love a friend her size at her new home. It's not known how she would do around larger dogs or cats. Princess is looking for the perfect home able to devote spending a lot of time with her, cuddling, walking, and teaching her new things she missed out on during the past couple of years. Someone who works from home, can take her to work with them or is retired would be great!
