Bindi was rescued with his mom and four siblings. Shortly after the rescue, the kittens developed panluekopenia. Despite heroic efforts by the staff at CARE, 3 of the kittens did not survive. Bindi and his sister Brodie were critical for several days but managed to turn the corner. However their weakened condition set them up for upper respiratory viral infection. As a result, Bindi has a chronic sinutitis and his left eye tends to tear more than the right. Despite their rough start in life, they are sweet, affectionate, active, playful cats. In addition to their own games, they love chasing wand toys, climbing on the cat tree and watching birds. They especially enjoy chasing the cursor on the computer screen and have almost placed some online orders. Brodie is a bit more reserved and timid than Bindi. With all they have been through, they are very bonded and need to be adopted together. They seem to enjoy other cats but have not had the opportunity to meet any dogs yet. Not for small children as Bindi can be mouthy in play.
