Flicka's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Flicka's Story...
Our dogs are fostered in NC and VA until they are adopted. Once adopted we can transport them to any of our Northeastern locations.

Flicka will was born 6-1-2013. She is a tiny chihuhua and weighs 4 pounds. Flicka is good with other dogs and cats. She is good with humans but we will not adopt to homes with small Children due to Flicka's size. She is tiny and will not tolerate rough handling by a child who does not know any better. She is pee pad trained. Her foster Mommy has been working on getting her trained to go potty outside verses using pee pads.

She is spayed, current on shots. She is current on vaccinations, flea prevention and heartworm prevention. The adopter will get all her health records with adoption.

We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can get that on the main website at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flicka, a Burlington Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
