Harlin's Story...
Hi I'm HARLIN !

I'm only about 10-11 months old, but my foster family tells me that I'm cute, very happy, sweet, and a bundle of love!

They say that I have a "balanced energy and temperament" (that's a good thing), but I will need a little training. I'm treat-motivated and love to please my people, so teaching me new things will be easy.

I enjoy playing nicely with other dogs, but they say that I'm a true athlete so would be a good match for a runner or hiker. At the end of the day, I will just chill with my people to show off how affectionate and gentle I am.

My forever family can include any size person, but because I'm a bouncy boy, I need to be managed around toddlers so I don't accidentally knock them over during play.

I'm already neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped.

To meet me, just complete an interest questionnaire at www.shadowsfund.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harlin, a Lompoc Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lompoc, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Lompoc.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lompoc already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lompoc breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lompoc paves the way for another one to be saved.
