I am a darling little baby, too cute! Sure I am a little scared right now, but what would you expect. I am only 4 months old and I am just a tiny little thing- shelter life is scary for babes like me. I would love to find a caring and gentle home, a family where I can be treated with love and lots of patience, a family that will raise me into the wonderful pet I am eager to be.
4 months old-8lbs. My adoption fee is $250 and includes; reduced cost spay and $25 spay rebate, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam(Portland/Milwaukie area), 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marnie, a Portland Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Portland, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
