Hi my name is Grace. I am a 6 year old lab and shepherd mix with a shepherd personality. I like to keep pretty busy and am hoping my next family will like that life style as well. I wouldn't mind living with a cat but I would like to meet any other dogs before going home. Young children make me uncomfortable what with their fast movements and loud noises so I will need a child free household. Thanks for taking the time to hear me out, if you have any other questions call my caretakers at HATS at 989-775-0830.

About Humane Animal Treatment Society

About Our Shelter...

The Humane Animal Treatment Society (HATS) is a
volunteer, community based organization that exists
to provide a valuable public service in emphasizing the
vital importance of spaying and neutering, and preventing
the suffering and death of countless unwanted animals.
Every adoption is one more step in breaking the chain of
unwanted litters of puppies and kittens from irresponsible,
uncontrolled breeding.

HATS spays or neuters 100% of the animals who are adopted from the shelter. Through adoption fees, the Humane Animal Treatment Society recoups only a fraction of the costs directly related to the treatment of animals while in our care.

Our organization relies on donations to fund these valuable programs and to continue care for our furry friends. The funds we receive help offset medical expenses and assist with the housing and care of shelter animals who are awaiting forever homes.

Our Adoption Process...

Every adoption is one more step in breaking the chain of
unwanted litters of puppies and kittens from irresponsible,
uncontrolled breeding.

Upon intake, every animal receives age appropriate
vaccines - including rabies, a microchip and license (dogs).
