My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet lovely Miss Brie! Not only does she have one of the sweetest kitty faces on the planet, she has a equally loving personality to match.

Brie is known for her "prarie-dog position:" she will sit up on her hind legs and purr to get attention (please see video on YouTube at https://youtu.be/qgFoMhFJ9Gc :o) Having rescued her as a senior from the shelter, we are uncertain of her age, but think she may be 14 - 15 years young -- equivalent to a person in her mid-seventies.

Brie has recently been diagnosed with kidney disease (not uncommon for cats her age). We are putting her on a kidney-friendly diet, but she will also need to receive sub-cutaneous fluids (easy to administer at home if someone is willing to be trained on how to do so), and PBJ will
cover all of her veterinary expenses while she is in foster care.

Her adoption fee is waived for anyone willing to make lovely Ms. Brie a PURRmanent family member.

Interested in helping? Please email us at brie@petsbringjoy.org ... sincerest thanks!

APPROX. AGE AS OF : 10/2018 is 14 years

FOSTERING SAVES LIVES, AND IS THE BACKBONE OF RESCUE

Not ready to adopt, but perhaps interested in learning more about fostering?

We offer 2 ways to foster:

1. Traditional: taking a loving animal into your home, socializing and taking care of him/her OR

2. Virtual: If you are unable to take a cat into your home, you can become a Virtual Foster...you will financially sponsor one of our cats and can keep track of his/her progress toward a new home.

Please visit petsbringjoy.org

and click the FOSTER link at the top of the page to learn how easy it is to foster, and to complete a no-obligation foster form.

Or click on the VIRTUAL FOSTER link to learn how easy it is to participate in our program.
