Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Leo-I am a 1.5 year old Labrador Retriever about 70 lbs. I was down south in animal control when these nice people came and rescued me.
They took me to this big tank looking thing and I got all wet and suds everywhere-they called it a bath. I really liked it and felt so much better once I got outside. My foster parents have been so good to me as I didn't know any rules, boundaries, or expectations. In just the short time I have been with them I am now comfortable with basic commands, friendly with other dogs has 6 month old foster that he loves to play with. Not aggressive about food or toys. House trained, crate trained, loves the outdoors. Curious, energetic, and simple dog.
My new rescue is taking such good care of me and I have seen the vet and was bathed the very first day I arrived. The following day we received news that I have heartworm, I don't feel sick but am glad I will be getting the treatment I need to get better and find my forever home. I have started my medicine and will start my treatment this month (june). I will be ready for adoption soon.
If you are interested in meeting me please submit an application-you can find on our website www.atailof4paws.org or contact us at 855-630-7297 or email at rescue@atailof4paws.org. My fee is $250 which includes my neuter, rabies, distemper, heartworm check, microchip.
