Pomeranian Dog for adoption in Hicksville, New York - Diggy

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Diggy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Diggy's Story...
Hi, I’m Diggy! I’m a tan and white male senior Pomeranian looking for love. I am about 8 –
9 years old and about 17 lbs. underneath the fluff. I’m a good boy, sweet and looking for
love. I get a little excited around new stimuli, but classical music helps to calm me down. I
was rescued by Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society just in the nick of time, as I was on the
shelters TBD (To Be Destroyed) list for that morning :-( Turned out to be my lucky day
instead! I was on the TBD list, even though I am so handsome and loveable, because I suffer
from allergies. I have very sensitive skin due to my allergies so I don’t like to be brushed
much. I’m neutered, microchipped, have had all my shots, and am generally healthy except
I’m allergic to a lot of things and need antihistamines and a special diet. I’m looking for a nurturing foster who might be willing to cook for me, or a loving permanent home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diggy, a Hicksville Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Hicksville, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Hicksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hicksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hicksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hicksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
