HONEY's Story...
This sweet girl lives up to her name…she truly is a honey. She is a happy girl, outgoing, fairly active and playful. She loves people and gets along great with other dogs. She is really beautiful too, with her two tone brown/tan coloring and her cute little flop ear. A good Sumaritan found her out in the middle of nowhere (thrown out) and got her to safety. At only 9 months old, she is still a youngster and only weighs 20 pounds. She has been completely vetted, including spay, 4DX heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, all vaccinations, worming and she is on heartworm and flea prevention. That being said, she is more than ready to start a new life with a brand new family. Her adoption fee is $400.

Honey is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee does include transportation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HONEY, a Hartford Rat Terrier/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Feist for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Feist dog from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Feist breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
