This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.
NAME: Tila

Tila (pronounced Tee-ya) is an adorable little soul with so much love to give. Her humans were both deployed to active duty and had to surrender her to a shelter. The shelter called CRT and asked if we would bring her in to our program to help her find a new forever home. We were happy to do this. And we send our love and thanks to her original owners for protecting our country.
Tila’s day begins with an early morning walk to stop and smell the tulips or fresh cut grass. Tila is potty trained and she will wait patiently and quietly for you take her out if you live in an apartment. She enjoys being outside and would love to have a house with at a small yard where she can relax outside with you.
Tila gets along beautifully with the other dogs in her foster home. She enjoys hanging out with them, and snuggling with them. She does not play a lot, but she does enjoy some activity with toys. Tila also loves going to the park with her sisters. At the park she likes making new friends, especially the human kind.
Tila absolutely adores her humans. She is velvety soft and loves to have her belly and head rubbed. She will even nudge your hand with her head to let you know she wants more! Tila greets you every morning with a smile and wagging her tail so happily. She loves to snuggle and hang around you, so if you work from home she would fit in quite brilliantly snuggling at your feet or laying on your lap while you work. (She is on my lap as I am writing this!)
Tila is very smart. She is learning new tricks every day. She loves treats, so she is highly motivated to do tricks for you! Her favorite trick is to dance about when she knows she is getting a treat. Note that you will have to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't eat too much food, as we want her to keep her girlish figure! Tila is potty trained and does very well on a routine. We are currently teaching her how to use pee pee pads for the rainy days, and also how to use a doggy door. She is crate trained too, but she would prefer to snuggle in bed with you under the covers.
Tila is a quiet, mellow little girl. Since being in her foster home she hasn’t barked once, even when her foster sisters are letting us know someone is close. Tila gets along with everybody, she is not shy with strangers, and likes everyone she meets. We feel that she will do well in any home, but may prefer a doggy sibling or two to interact with when her human is away.
Tila has beautiful coloring. She is about 6 years old, and weighs about 8 pounds. She has an adorable under bite that makes it appear that she is smiling at you 24 / 7. This girl is a sweetheart, and we know you are going to fall in love with her. She is ready for a forever home - is she your girl?

Tila is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative. and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
