Bio:

Shenzi is very sweet and likes to cuddle. She was recently returned to Key to Happiness Rescue from a previous adoptive home because the owner said she is a nervous dog that never relaxes. Since being in our home she is relaxing just fine and gets along well with our dogs and cats. I suspect the previous owner was the issue and not Shenzi. Shenzi is potty trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash and loves to be with the family. She barks a little bit but stops when told. The previous foster home (which is my sister) found out that she has no peripheral vision so if dogs run up to her face she gets scared and will growl but once told “enough’ she stops. This also causes her to be a little clumsy so she may run into things or miss a step. As she has gotten more confident this behavior has decreased. Shenzi is being fostered in Menasha WI.
