  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn - With Black
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Andrew is a great boy, very handsome, good with other dogs, good around cats and loves, loves going for walks. He walks very well on leash and being the part hound we believe him to be he loves to sniff his way along. How wonderful it would be for Andrew to have a home and family to share his love with. His estimated year of birth is around 2007 and his weight is around 55 lbs. We are uncertain of his mix but in addition to hound we think he may have some shepherd in him. He's up to date with vaccinations, micro-chipped and heart-worm negative. If interested, please contact RickyC68@aol.com and please include a phone number where you can be reached. Thank you.

Please note we are always in need of foster homes for our dogs. If interested in making a difference in a dog's life we would love to share with you what it means to be a foster parent.

About Smiling Dog Farms- NY Huntington chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

Smiling Dog Farms is a sanctuary for the forgotten, neglected and rejected. Our dogs come from shelters and rescues all across America. All dogs that are deemed adoptable are up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm prevention. Many of our dogs live in Wharton Texas, but we have very safe, reliable transport to the northeastern states.

Our Adoption Process...

Most of the dogs that come to our Sanctuary have had a scary background of being left to die in animal shelters across the country. Understandably, we are very careful in our approving our adoptions as we are dedicated to ensuring that this dogs truly go to a "forever" home. As a result, our process is stringent, requiring an application, home visit, vet and reference checks and an adoption contract. We want the adoption to be a match made in heaven for both the new adoptive parents and the adopted dog.
