My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Tilda is just that - little. She is by far the tiniest of her sisters but doesn't let that stop her. Tilda loves to explore and chase her sister around. Tilda has really come out of her shell and loves to be out with her foster humans and dogs. For being small, she packs a punch and isn't afraid to tackle her much larger sister Tia. One of Tilda's favorite spots is sitting on her foster dad's shoulders. Tilda is a spunky little thing but also loves some quiet time and snuggles. Tilda loves to play hide and seek but always comes when she is called. Like her sisters, she does well with the resident dogs (even the one 4 times her size). I think Tilda would do well in a home with another dog or as the only dog. During the day when the humans are away and at night when the humans are sleeping Tilda stays in a room with one of her sisters. Tilda is estimated to be 10 weeks old and 10 lbs. We are just guessing on breed and based on current appearance and while we don't know size for sure we guess they will be good medium sized dogs based on current weight.

All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.

Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis. If you are interested in meeting this dog please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.

We are also having an adoption event at R&D Bio-techne, located at 2001 Kennedy St NE Minneapolis 55413 on Saturday, June 10, from 12-2pm. Please bring a copy of your pre-adoption application.
