Daffodil (in CT) is about 8 months old. She was born outside, but a kind person started feeding her & her mama, Sunflower, & allowing them inside. Then that person passed away & so she & her mama went to a rescue. When initially placed in separate cages, they constantly talked to each other; so they were put in the same cage where they often groomed & snuggled each other. Daffodil is more shy than her mother, but in the foster home they later went to she would come to people asking for pets. She was about 6 months old when brought into rescue; we don't know how old she was when the Good Samaritan started letting them inside, or how much the lady interacted with them. A kitten not socialized before 12 weeks old takes a little longer to come around, but Daffodil has a good start on that process & just needs a patient person to continue winning her over to the love of humans that her mama has. We are adopting them together both because Daffodil is more comfortable with Sunflower around, & so that Sunflower can provide her a good example of trusting humans.
Both mama & daughter are polydactyl (extra toes)!

She has been tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) & FeLV (feline leukemia virus) & found to be negative, and is already spayed.
