I adopted Montana about 4yrs ago in Jacksonville florida. She's potty trained, knows commands such as OFF, SIT and LAYDOWN. I usually say 'chewy' in reverence to a treat to get her excited.
Unfortunately she has anxiety issues when it comes to thunderstorms. She shakes, pants and drools when she hears the sound and she panics if left in a crate or a room with the door shut. If she is alone, she will hurt herself by chewing on the crate or scratching at a door.
I relocated to the clearwater area for work 2 years ago not realizing it was the lightening capital of Florida. While I'm at work and storms occur, Montana bites and chews the metal crate she is in when I'm not home and hurts herself to get out. I'm unable to stand by and watch this happen as she can severely damage her paws and teeth and prefer to find someone who is retired, works or stays at home or is comfortable with allowing Montana the run of the house while you work.
She is up to date with shots, healthy, and get gets along with kids and other animals. if interested, please inquire!
