Rocky's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rocky's Story...
How is Rocky still in foster?!? If you are looking for a chill, mellow dog who loves to hang out with you on the couch, watch tv, go for walks, and be best friends with another doggy, then Rocky would love to meet you.

He has been a favorite at our adoption events, however due to his age (between 6 & 8) people pass him by. He doesn't act like an 8 year old dog, and his personality is the best.

He does tend to have some leash reaction towards bigger dogs, but with the proper harness and continued exposure, this will pass.

If you would like to meet Rocky, he is being fostered in the Portland, OR area and his adoption fee is $250.00.

I mean really, he should be in his forever home by now!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Medium) dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
