Harley's Story...
Harley is a 14 month German Shepherd/ Australian shepherd mix. She is full of love, enjoys playing fetch and can entertain herself by chasing her shadows. She needs a home with a yard and a family/owner with time to give her daily exercise. She is a wonderful hiking, running or walking buddy. She is UTD on shots and is spayed. She walks well on leash, knows basic commands (sit, stay, lay down) but would benefit from a home that could continue training her. She does well with children of all ages and strangers. She would do best as an only pet. Rehoming her is a decision that I did not decide easily so I must feel that any home she goes to is a wonderful fit for everybody involved.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Murrieta German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Murrieta, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Murrieta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Murrieta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Murrieta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Murrieta paves the way for another one to be saved.
