Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome George. George has the stocky short body and build of a Bassett Hound and the head of a Rottweiler. He is a Bassett/Rott Blend. He weighs about 30 pounds and he is adorable. He is the typical scenting dog and has his nose to the ground when on a leash. We have read up on them and the best yard is a traditionally fenced one. An underground type isn’t a good fit for this breed. He is moderately active and in play groups he likes to watch them romp around. He has then satisfied his need and is ready to take a nap or catch a good thing to sniff on the ground. He doesn’t jump up and is good with most dogs even if not a big participant in the romping. He is neutered or will be soon, up on shots, hw negative and ready to join his forever family. His personality is Bassett so a previous Bassett family would be great. He likes all people and he is outgoing and friendly to strangers. Contact alicesavesdogs@gmail.com for an application. He can be adopted on the East or the West Coast. This charming boy will make a great companion for some lucky family.
