Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**PLEASE READ TO THE END FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION.**
My name is Alfalfa and I absolutely refuse to look at the camera. Alfie has been with us the longest of current TXCR dogs. He came to us with a neurological issue to blunt force head trauma. Alfalfa would walk in circles and his urine was red. When he finally stop circling then he started just standing. Standing in one spot, never moving. Once the swelling went down Alfie started walking, playing a little, and then dancing, however he will never be the same and will never be 100% recovered. Alfalfa permanently lost a bit of motor skills and cognitive thinking. After 3 rounds of heart worm treatment, a good foster and some serious TLC he is ready for his forever home. We have had a hard time potty training Alfalfa. It is something he will have to work on. We use belly bands on him and he may be a belly band lifer. Alfie LOVES to play and dance and adores other dogs. He also walks well on a leash. He has had all cards stacked against him. It is time for him to shine!! He needs a loving and patient adopter willing to take him as he is and continue to work with him. He needs an earth angel to love him for always . Apply at www.texaschihuahuarescue.com
If you would like to adopt Alfalfa, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.com. His adoption fee, including vetting paperwork and microchip registration to adopter, is $200.
