Fluffy is VERY temperamental. She is not a lovey lap cat, but is finally allowing us to approach her without hissing, and even allowing us to brush her. She has come quite a ways from the kitty we first met. We have been working with her since March of 2017, and she still has a long way to go to learn to trust again, but every day we are making progress. She absolutely loves her treats!
She will require an experienced, patient, ONLY CAT, quiet home, adopter. She is going to require someone willing to invest time in her. She has been through an awful lot. We do not recommend her to be adopted into a home with other cats, small children or dogs. She was estimated to have been born March of 2006.
Fluffy was previously spayed and front declawed, we have tested her for feline leukemia, FIV, fully vaccinated her for rabies, distemper and leukemia, wormed and treated for fleas.
We do require a veterinarian reference prior to scheduling an adoption appointment. We do contact the reference to verify we are adopting our kitties into loving responsible forever homes. We also require a cat carrier be brought to the adoption appointment for secure transport home.
We are looking for a senior foster home for her. She is one of our Senior to Senior program available kitties.
