My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little guy is Merlin. He is a 30 lb love bug who came to us from the Cleveland Kennels with no fur due to mange. He is now being treated and his hair is coming in so nicely. This boy is about a year old and he is housebroken, crate trained and friendly. 10/1 From his foster mom/dog trainer: Merlin is a young very energetic and lovable boy. He’s playful and excitable and really loves all kinds of toys and bones. He will usually carry a toy or a bone in his mouth. He is also very food motivated. He is house trained and crate trained, and very happy to be in his crate with a bone or a kong. He’s small in stature (he’s a bully/small terrier mix, maybe jack russell?) - but has a big personality. He really likes to play, and really likes other dogs but tends to play a little rough sometimes. Dogs that are bigger than him or similar size would be best playmates for him. He has also been around other small animals but tends to chase them. He’s not aggressive with them but gets too excited; I think he can live with cats with very slow and appropriate introductions. He’s not a barker or a chewer but needs to be supervised in the house as he’s still a lot like a puppy. Merlin needs an active family to keep him well exercised and busy with activities. He gets along well with everyone but small kids are probably not a good idea for him due to his energy level and bounciness. Adoption fee 125.00
