Busta's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING. Busta is one of the sweetest cats we have ever had at the shelter. He was rescued from living outdoors and came to us in rough shape. He is healing up nicely. He loves to be held and snuggled. He has an adorable face and we think he might have some Persian heritage. Busta is an FIV+ cat. He can live alone or with other cats he gets along with and doe not require any medication for his condition. He can live a long, healthy life as an indoor cat. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Busta, a Winchendon Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Winchendon, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Winchendon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winchendon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winchendon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winchendon paves the way for another one to be saved.
