Up for adoption: Chunky. He can be adopted in Texas and New England.

This 11 lb hunk was born March 28th, 2017. He has fluffy eyebrows, and a gorgeous brindle coat with a white chest, belly and feet. Some of his fur has a wire feel which gives him a playful look that is even cuter in person than in pictures. He has a lot of nicknames because everyone who meets him loves him!

He is both playful and loyal, after a few minutes romping in the yard he will come back and sit at your feet waiting for praise and a pet down. He'll roll right over at let you rub his belly.

He's a quick learner. He stopped jumping on people when we withdrew our attention if he jumped. He learned to sit in just minutes. He stays near you if you talk to him while on a leash.

He loves to play with any kind of toy, especially if you play with him. He will gladly trade if you shake a toy to replace anything he found that you don't want him to have. He likes to sleep at your side or in your arms.

He's the quietest of our three dogs, and rarely barks. The vacuum, blender, and coffee grinder don't bother him.

He stays in his crate for up to 8 hours overnight without soiling, but he is READY to go out by 6:30 or 7AM. Potty training is in progress. He knows to go potty when outside, but needs regular opportunities to go out, and a potty pad inside for emergencies.

His vaccinations are on schedule and he has all the appropriate preventative medications.
