Cheetah's Story...
THIS KITTEN IS BEING FOSTERED IN LAKELAND

We rescued this kitten who was crying a couple of days ago, stuck in the hood of my car! It had been raining for days, and the kitten was shivering and cold. We took her inside, and she's been wonderful! So full of purrs. She sems very grateful to have been rescued. She's eating very well and appears very healthy! She's about 8 weeks old and ready for her forever family!

She is very beautiful and the pictures do not do her justice. She loves playing with toys/wands and enjoys being a cute kitten.

If you would like to adopt this kitty even though she is not yet fixed, it would be $40 deposit in which I will put towards her spay! I would call this into the vet where she will be getting fixed. If not, you can leave a deposit for her, and we will get her fixed and you can get her in a couple of weeks.

Since she is so cute and small, and growing bigger by the day, we would love to find her a home right away! She's small, and friendly so would get along with other kittens or cats. She's a little scared of dogs, and since this is her first time inside, she's getting used to household noises and such.

We love holding her on our bellies and letting her sleep on us. Also, she's not attached to a name as of yet, so you would be able to rename her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheetah, a Port Richey Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Port Richey, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Port Richey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Richey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Richey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Richey paves the way for another one to be saved.
