Hurricane's Story...
Hurricane is a dog who has it all! He's playful, affectionate, well mannered and CUTE! Despite his serious look, he isn't such a serious guy. ;-) Hurricane likes to show off his play bows and then cuddle up to you (or in your lap!) for lots of pets. Yup, he gives kisses too! Hurricane is quiet in his kennel, walks great on the leash with no tugging and knows "sit" and "paw" already. What a great guy!

If you have a dog at home, bring them in and staff can help everyone meet (intros always recommended).

You can visit 1 yr old Hurricane at the MC Animal Care, West shelter at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx. Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. His $20 adoption fee includes neuter, rabies certificate and County license. Hurricane- A3922074

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hurricane, a Phoenix American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
