My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Maggie (HWTH#17152A). She is a Shetland Sheepdog mix, DOB: 3/28/13. Maggie weighs 34 pounds and stands 17 inches at the shoulders. Maggie's owner passed away and her family could not keep her so they turned her in to the animal shelter. A Halfway to Home volunteer rescued her from the shelter so Maggie can find another loving and permanent home. This is a wonderfully sweet girl who walks great on leash. She likes to give small kisses and seems to have a submissive nature (she may be more active when she feels comfortable in her new environment). Lots of love, good-quality human companionship, playtime and some exercise will be a must for this precious girl. When Maggie is thoroughly settled in her new home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training mostly for bonding purposes. Maggie is good with other dogs and is crate trained.
