Artemis is a sweet calico kitty who found herself begging for food in a neighborhood in Bryan. While some people were nice and fed her. someone else was a disgusting bleep and shot her with a pellet gun, breaking one of her legs. She has had to wear a cast and be on strict cage rest (other than cuddle sessions) for two months. Her bone has healed but she is still learning how to use her leg again and needing to regain strength as her muscles had atrophied. Artemis will be making her adoption debut today, 2-5pm at the College Station Petsmart on University (back by the cat litter) if you want to give her a safe indoor home or see what her leg looks like now and donate toward her care. We need our funds to spay/neuter 400+ cats and dogs annually but we could not say no when this girl needed help with her leg too. Of course, we spayed her.
