Dukie is mellow and stable by nature! He could be a little shy when first introduced to new people. But he can adapt to new environment in only a day or so; he has soon adjusted to his new life at the foster home. Dukie is quiet and well behaved, he’s friendly to adults and children alike.
On a rainy afternoon near a local market place, the volunteer spotted a tiny puppy soaking wet and shivering in the rain. The volunteer couldn’t walk away from this innocent life and do nothing; she picked him up and sent him to the vet for neutering. And he is Dukie. Dukie spent a few days in the vet to undergo physical and neuter surgery.
Unexpectedly, the volunteer received a phone call from the vet, saying that Dukie was adopted by someone. But the follow up home visit by the volunteer turned out quite disappointing. She found Dukie left in a small cage in his new home, and all he had to eat was some bread crumbs. The volunteer decided to find Dukie a better home.
It took Dukie a couple days to adapt to his new foster home. He was shy and lost appetite at first, but soon he came out of his shell and became lively again.
Although Dukie does not have striking appearance, but his good nature and easy-going personality will sure won him the love he deserves. Please open your heart and welcome Dukie to be your family member!
