Meet Mimi, 3.8 lbs 8 year Yorkshire terrier, rescued from OC Shelter medical. Mimi had a bladder stone so large weighing .85 ounces. Mimi was in pain for a very long time. Our vet hospital removed the bladder stone which was stuvite. Her urinary incontinence is improving, but she may never be fully house trained. Mimi is hard of hearing, and has one blind eye, caused from constant urinary infections. Mimi is healthy, but will need a special diet for the rest of her life, to prevent her stone from recurring.
Mimi is very sweet little gal who loves attention, and HATES to be crated, even for a few minutes. She cries, barks, and throws a big tantrum if she is confined at all. Mimi is happiest sitting on your lap, or in a little doggie bed, right next to you.
Mimi's adoption include her bladder stone surgery, stone testing, dental cleaning, spay, vaccines and microchip. Please fill out an pet application on our website: www.savingk9livesplus.org (Additional information can be found under adoptable dogs)
You can keep up to date about Mimi, as well as other doggies in the care of our rescue, by visiting our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/savingk9lives
