Hagrid's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Hagrid's Story...
Now, if you are just wanting to adopt me so that I will introduce you to Harry Potter, then donʼt apply. This is all about me, I will not play second fiddle to anyone, I want to be the center of attention, the pup in the spotlight, the one for whom the wizard waves his wand. Anyway, Iʼm Hagrid, a male standard Poodle born approximately 11/03. I am up to date on shots, neutered and heartworm negative. I will be a very loyal member of a family, already know how to sit on command and play fetch with a tennis ball for hours upon hours. Guess you can say Iʼm a little wacky for a tennis ball. I will not be good around small children, but if you have a home with enough room for me to chase my tennis balls around in, we might need to talk. Oh, and donʼt think you are going to put any of those frilly bows in my hair, have you seen Rubeus Hagrid?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hagrid, a Baton Rouge Poodle (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Standard) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Poodle (Standard) dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Standard) breeders who help with Poodle (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
