Guido in CT's Story...
Guido is a cute little Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix boy, around 6-7 years old. He is full grown at a petite 19 lbs. He lost his home because his owners were not able to give him the care that he needs. How hard this must be for him. He loves to run so he would do best with a fenced yard. He also loves to go for walks and visit with the neighbors. Guido is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and comes with a month of pet health insurance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Guido in CT, a East Hartford Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua for sale in East Hartford, or seeking a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in East Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua breeders who help with Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
