Smokey is a striking young boy. He came to us from a puppy mill and so is shy with new people but does very well with other dogs. He is making progress every day is will make a great family dog with a little patience and love.

Puppy mill survivors can become wonderful loyal pets but need some extra considerations. They deserve the best of humans can offer after starting life with some of the worst.

They will need a super secure fully fenced yards so they can explore the world safely
Most will do best with another friendly dog they can bond with.
And, they will need to be indoor house dogs and will thrive in calm stable environments. Chaotic situations, moves, vacations etc can be overwhelming for these pups.
Most adoptable dogs will need some reintroduction into a home, potty training, basic manners and social skills. Please be prepared to provide the training and dedication needed to provide your new pet the time and training needed to become his/or best possible companion.
