Here's what the humans have to say about me:
NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this pet personally. To meet Maxwell, come to the County of San Diego Department of Animal Services, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad 92011.
Maxwell is a neutered male Pit Bull mix. He is 2 years old and weighs 52 pounds. His coloring is brown, brindle and white.
Maxwell rides well in the car, takes treats gently from your hand, he is house trained, and he is a great favorite with volunteers at the shelter.
He has rope toys and a tennis ball. When you say tennis ball, he will go pick it up and return it to you. He is quite a gentleman, waiting at open gates and looking at you for permission to exit. Maxwell is great on the agility equipment at the shelter. He loves to run up, sit for a treat, then walk the length of the beam and walk down.
His modest adoption fee includes a microchip, all vaccinations, and a free vet check. He is already neutered.
Come see if Maxwell is the boy for you! Visit the County of San Diego Department of Animal Services, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad 92011. Open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm. Closed Mondays and holidays.
