Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When your best friend leaves you behind it is hard to feel happy right away. Bubba's owner went into a nursing home last March and since then he has been living by himself in one room with a friend who didn't have much time for him. At only 2 yrs. old there has only been one person he gave his heart to so he is feeling sad right now. He has not lived with other pets (but met 1 cat briefly) and has only met 1 teenager. We know there is someone special out there who loves large tigers and would be happy to have this handsome fellow. We know he would do fine in an apartment.
To apply for a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application from this page:

If a cat is listed on our website, that means that cat is still available for adoption. The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place on Saturdays from 11 - 1:00 during adoption hours, or by appointment. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125. Our kitten adoption fee (cats up to 6 months old) is $160 for a single kitten or $260 for a pair. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, microchip, combo testing (for FeLV and FIV) and spaying/neutering when old enough.
