My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Kirby! So nice to meet you! I'm a 2-year-old neutered male Terrier mix and I weigh about 40 pounds. I've got all my shots up to date and I'm microchipped, too.

Let me tell you a little bit about how I ended up homeless. Back in May 2017, I was picked up by Animal Control as a stray wandering the streets of South Central Los Angeles, which is not such a nice neighborhood to be lost in. Then I hung out at the pound for a couple of weeks, which is also not very much fun. And then, luckily, CageFree stumbled across me. They saw my smiling face and my wagging tail and they could not resist! So they rescued me and vowed to find me a new home with a loving family of my very own!

Since I've been with the rescue group, I've proven myself to be an absolutely fantastic guy! I'm playful, happy, engaging and did I mention that I'm super duper cute too? My scruffy face can't be beat. I'm also very outgoing and I love every new person I meet. I'm basically one of the friendliest dogs around. I also get along well with my fellow canines. So that's a win-win if you ask me!
