Puddles is a 6-7 yr old male cocker spaniel.
He was found as a stray in Huntington WV, and picked up by animal control.
He was in horrible shape, matted, eye, ear infections, a growth on his back, and malnourished.
He spent some time in the shelter and then we offered to take him to avoid him being euthanized in an already over crowded shelter.
Puddles has been with us almost 2 months and he is back to good health, and ready for his forever home.
His only health issue that we are aware of is cloudiness in his right eye, that could be a cataract starting.
He was given a dental, neutered, growth removed, and all vaccines, including heartworm test.
He is ready to go.
Puddles is an absolute joy!!
He is a super loveable guy, and has that perfect laid back, docile temperament.
He does not exhibit any behavioral issues that our foster has seen.
He is good with other dogs and housetrained.
Puddles is very interested in the neighbors cat, and may chase if given the opportunity, we cant be sure on his compatibility with cats.
This boy will make a wonderful and loving companion to any family, especially an older person or couple looking for a buddy.
Puddles is neutered and up to date on vaccines snd heartworm test.
