Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I would like to tell you all about one of our foster boys looking for a new forever home. Our red boy is a doxie mix about nine years old, fully vetted, including micro chip and being on heart and flea prevention.
Rusty takes treats very gently, house trained, crate trained, gets along with most dogs and is a joy to have for a companion. This boy loves to explore the fenced in back yard, has excellent recall, and his most favorite thing his basketball, yes you read that right he LOVES his basketball.
He has only known love in his life. Our boy was with his momma for his life since he was about 9 weeks old. I am sure the thought this would always be his home, But his mom found a man in her life, and make the decision that she wanted the man and not her beloved companions. So a nice family took Rusty and his friend Teddy in till a rescue could be found for them. The boys do not have to be adopted together.
If you are looking for a sweet little older boy this is Rusty and he will give you all his heart, and keep you entertained with his antics with is basketball. He is waiting to restart his life.
