THEIR STORY: A young cat we named Bunny was living under a porch and some college kids starting taking care of her. That is when she became VERY pregnant and is when they notified us for help. We were able to put her into foster care so she could have her kittens in a safe environment. All the kittens have been dewormed, have 1st distemper shot, rabies, and have flea preventative on the back of their necks. They also have been spayed and neutered (other than Daisy, who was too small to be spayed) Their adoption fee (if not already fixed) includes their spay/neuter

PERSONALITY: They are all friendly and playful. They are 9 weeks old (born 4-11-16). Eating purina kitten chow. Here is a description of each of them (thanks to their foster who has had them for 9 weeks).

JASPER: (1st photo) The only male. He is the biggest with a personality to match. He has the most energy and is always the first to greet me. He is fascinated with feet - sneakers, slippers, and even bare feet. He likes the grab hold of your arm and nibble - I think they are all teething. He loves to tackle his sisters and mum and can sometimes be a little rough. He is extremely curious and has to be in the center of everything. When I stand in the room-- he tries to climb up my leg or will nibble my pant leg. He has large paws so I am willing to bet he will be a big cat. *neutered and has vaccines

Pebbles (2nd photo) - gray tiger with virtually NO tail. When I enter the room she cries the loudest and waits for me to take her down off the bed to eat. Every time I sit down she has to be right beside me or will sit on my leg or lap -- not for very long because at 8 wks old she has bounds of energy. She does like to climb EVERYthing... including people - if you sit down she will try to scale up your back. She is sweet and friendly (and my personal fave) :) She is a nibbler also when you pet her. *Spayed and has vaccinations

Violet -(3rd photo) dark tiger with long tail and white paws. She is the calmest of the bunch. She sits and lays in funny positions - typically extending one of her legs. She is a momma's girl - you can always find her with her mom, following her to the window, bed or scratch pad. When I feed them - she likes to eat with mom. She loves to groom and kiss her mom (and Bunny is always willing to reciprocate) It would be so wonderful if those 2 were adopted together. She has the most gorgeous coloring and one stripe circles her midsection. She is becoming more curious and loves to play and jump - just tapping my hands on the floor she does this side shuffle and can hop straight up in the air. She loves these little crinkle pom pom toys. *spayed with vaccinations

Daisy: (4th photo) Dark tiger kitty w/ stump tail. She is the most reserved and somewhat shy to people and prefers to watch things from a slight distance. I can see she will probably need a little more time to warm up to folks. She loves her siblings and does plays with them, but at times she is off on the sidelines observing. When one of her siblings tackle her she will join in the fun but usually not the initiator. She likes to chase strings - maybe she would do better getting adopted with one of her sisters to pal with. (will be spayed soon, can be adopted now but must come back from spay appointment)

Bunny (last photo)- the momma kitty, who is all black - she is extremely friendly and loving. It is amazing she was found living under a porch - she must have been someone's pet at one time because she is not shy and instead quite social. She really enjoys when you pet her and will let you do this until you get tired. While she won't sit on my lap, she will lay right beside me. If you make a kiss noise she comes right over so you can pet her - when you stop she will roll all around to give herself pets and scratches. She LOVES the cardboard scratch pad I have, she uses it to sharpen her nails but also like to rub her head and face on the cardboard or even just sit on it. She has a ferocious appetite. I feed her 4x a day and she eats every last morsel - she isn't fussy on what she eats either. I have had her in my home for 2 mos. She has never scratched the furniture, always uses the litter box and makes the most adorable sounds - not a meow more like a herding call or a chirp. She enjoys sitting in the window. She is the most amazing mom to her four kittens. She is protective and extremely attentive to her kittens --* Spayed with all vaccinations

We don't want to see them given to the Humane Society (which can euthanize upwards of 50 or more cats a day like our local shelter) or left to fend for themselves on the streets. Please never let the humane society be a choice for ANY animal. They rely on us for their well-being******
