Timmy's Story...
Timmy is a 6 month old DECLAWED (oh horror!) kitten. He was adopted as a young kitten, declawed and surrendered to a kill shelter. We are sure there is more to this story but we don't want to know. We want to focus on Timmy's future and make sure that he is never hurt or mistreated. He deserves to be loved and to be happy.

Timmy is 6 months old, beautiful cow print kitten with a clown face. He is on a large side, athletic, beautiful, with soft fur and big clear eyes.

Timmy can be shy at first and needs couple of hours to chill in a new home - pretty standard for most cats, although kittens usually explore right away.

Timmy is fixed, microchipped, tested and vaccinated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timmy, a Brooklyn American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
