My name is Buddy and I am an approximately 10 year old boxer boy! I was rescued from a rural shelter where I was surrendered by my family. They said I was too old. I don't understand why though. I am a fun-loving, low energy, handsome older gentleman. I am kind and my tail is always wagging at the chance for attention. I am up to date on all my vaccinations and neutered!

I weigh about 60 lbs and am solid. I am very affectionate and loving; I'd make a companion for a single person or an older person. I am crate trained and leash trained. I am also food motivated which can be helpful and I take treats nicely from your hand.

I get along with most other dogs. I ignore cats and livestock. I enjoy leisurely walks, am easy to handle on a lead, prefer lots of snuggles, and time with my person. The rescue people tell me because I am a "senior" there is no adoption fee for me. They just want a wonderful person or family to adopt me so I can spend the rest of my days knowing what love is. I hope you will give me a chance.
