Introducing Casey, the wonder dog!!!! She came to us from a small and overfilled kill facility. She was in desperate need of rescue before euthanasia! We believe she is between 1-2 years old and we think she is a Husky/Australian Cattle Dog mix. She weighs around 40 pounds, is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on her vaccines. She loves children and is very loving to all she meets. She adores one of our 11 year old volunteers! She gets so excited when she sees him and she follows him everywhere! We call her a wonder dog because she decided to be a surrogate mama to a bunch of lab puppies who are hyper and obnoxious and we wonder how she can do it! She eats with them and watches over them. She also tolerates them climbing all over her really well! She is leash trained and is the most wonderful girl!!! Please let us know if you would like to adopt this sweetheart! Her adoption fee (adoption fee $200, transport fee, and health cert fee are included) is $400. She is NOT in CT due to the lack of fosters in the area. She is currently in TX.
