My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Jeckle! I came here with my brother Heckle after our mom Sable was rescued as a teen mom trying to survive on the streets. We had a nice foster family, so we’re ready to find a home of our own now.

We’re both angular little fellows, a lot like our cousins the Orientals, only without the fancy paperwork. I’m the deep black one of the two, with Heckle being the more rare Cinnamon color. We both have bright amber eyes that don’t miss a thing.

We were a little shy when we first came in, but are making up for lost time. I’m the explorer of the two, the first one to make new friends and check out new things. I help Heckle be brave so he can show off his personality too! We both love to wrestle and pounce like normal little kitten will entertain you for hours.

We haven’t ever been around either dogs or children and our mom taught us to be careful, so will probably do best in a quieter home, without a lot of activity, at least until we get our bearings. I’m the one who loves to cuddle already, but Heckle will probably do fine once he’s allowed to blossom.

I can be adopted for $125, which includes important virus testing, neuter, microchip, vaccinations, food and litter starter kit and a free vet visit voucher. Heckle and I have been through a lot so we need to stay together, but there’s always the Buddy Discount to help make that happen!
