Wendy's Story...
This little lady is Wendy! She is a small/medium sized girl and absolutely loves people! She is about 2-3 years old. Wendy came to the shelter as a stray. She was found with another dog, Beatrice, who is also still at the shelter and available for adoption. The girls love to play and would make a great forever pair! If you are interested in adopting two great dogs, these may be the girls for you! Wendy is an energetic girl and loves to run around. She would love an owner who liked to go on walks and adventure outside. Wendy has done well around most other shelter dogs. We continue to learn about what she likes and what she doesn't like every day so we will update when we learn more about her. So far, she's a darling girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Michigan City Beagle/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Beagle/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Beagle/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
