Facts about Jagger

  • Breed: Mixed Breed (Medium) Mix
  • Color: Brindle
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Jagger gets along with all humans and dogs. He's met a cat and respected her space when she didn't want to make friends. He is super submissive. He has responded well to clicker training in his foster home and knows basic commands. He's kennel trained and will happily hang out in his kennel when he doesn't have to.

Viva! NM Rural Animal Rescue is a foster based rescue. Therefore, we do not have a shelter facility. Meet and Greets can be arranged by appointment only or if the animal is at an adoption event. Our adoption process begins with an adoption application, which you can fill out in person at an event or online here: www.viva-nm.org/adopt.html . Once the application is submitted and approved, Viva conducts a meet and greet, and then a home visit. Once the application, meet and greet, and home visit are successfully completed we complete our adoptions with an adoption contract and payment of the adoption fee. Each contract includes a 10 day trial adoption period. We do NOT do out of state adoptions.

About Viva NM Rural Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Viva NM Rural Animal Rescue is a group of volunteers dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned pets in rural high volume shelters. We hope to not only decrease the number of dogs and cats that are euthanized through rescue and adoption but also educate the population overall about the importance of spay and neuter programs. We do not have a facility, our rescue is strictly foster-home based.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Our Adoption Process...

All animals are sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. We require an initial adoption application, once accepted pets may be adopted with an approved home check and signed adoption contract. Our adoption fee is generally $200.00, but this may vary in special cases. We do not do out of state adoptions.
