Misty was surrendered to Poochmatch by her rescuer who found her roaming the streets of the Inland Empire and was unable to locate her owner(s). Misty is a sweet girl who does great with other dogs, male and female. She is very good-natured and gentle. She has not been cat-tested. Misty is crate-trained and walks well on a leash. Her front left leg is twisted from her elbow joint down. Our vet did an x-ray of her leg and determined that it is an old injury that has since healed completely. Since it does not cause her any pain and since any surgery that would be done to straighten her leg would not make her able to use it to walk on it anymore our vet thought it best to leave her leg as it is. She can run with the best of them still and she does use her front left leg when she stands on her back legs and leans on you.
If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Upon receipt AND approval, the dog you are interested in meeting will be made available to meet on a Saturday. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent. Please understand that private appointments will be coordinated to meet the convenience of the foster parent/transporter. We cannot hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.
All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, core vaccinations (rabies and 2 sets of distemper/parvo), fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
